Katey Sagal born as Catherine Louise Sagal on January 19th, 1954 in California, USA is a well-known American actress, singer and songwriter.

Katey Sagal was born to producer Sara Zwilling and director Boris Sagal. Katey Sagal's two sisters Jean Sagal and Liz Sagal and brother Joe Sagal are all film actors. Katey Sagal has attended the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, California, USA.

Katey Sagal made her acting debut with a made-for-television film "The Failing of Raymond" in 1971 directed by her father Boris Sagal. She made her television debut with a recurring role of Jo Tucker in a television series "Mary" {13 episodes: 1985-1986}. She has since had recurring roles in several television series such as "Married with Children" {248 episodes: 1987-1997}, "Futurama" {72 episodes: 1999-2003}, "8 Simple Rules... for Dating My Teenage Daughter" {76 episodes: 2002-2005}, "Sons of Anarchy" {12 episodes: 2008} and other short-lived television dramas.

She received 4 Golden Globe nominations consecutively from 1991 to 1994 for her role in "Married with Children" {248 episodes: 1987-1997}. She also won Prism Award in 2005 for her role in "8 Simple Rules... for Dating My Teenage Daughter" {76 episodes: 2002-2005}.

Katey Sagal at the age of 23 was married to Freddie Beckmeier from May 1st, 1977 to until her divorce in 1981. She later married Jack White on November 26th, 1993 at the age of 40. Their marriage ended in divorce on July 24th, 2000. They together have two children. Katey this time, at the age of 50 married actor, writer and producer Kurt Sutter on October 2nd 2004. They together have a daughter named Esme born January 10th, 2007 through a surrogate mother.
